Orasul Uzhgorod (Ucraina) se afla langa granita cu Slovacia si la 150 km. de Satu Mare, punct trecere frontiera Halmeu. Orasul Uzhgorod e traversat de cursul raului Uzh. Vama in partea ucraineana dureaza 1-2 ore, dupa cheful sau plictiseala vamesilor. Se ia spaga in orice moneda, Euro, lei sau hryvna, echivalentul a cca. 50 lei repartizati la poarta, controlori masina, ghiseu 1 si ghiseu 2.
